    What is Unturned?

Unturned is a free-to-play survival game that can be played at Steam, it was developed by Smartly Dress Games.

     Why do I play this game?

Well I was looking for a change of pace and free to play and then I saw this, the actual plan was to make my nieces play this with me but they don't actually like horror games that was my mistake but still I play it because it's quite fun.




When I first played this game I totally sucked at it, I died so many times as I respawn got eaten by zombies without being able to protect myself properly and died of hunger even though I got some supply, I almost give up playing it but I got intrigued by it so I still try to play it a bit more and study to all the mistake I made...


     My noob tip for survival.

*first thing first when you are new in this game and don't know what to do, you will die a lot, its frustrating but it did happen to me. So,

  • Roam around but crouch to lessen the zombie detection.
  • When you see house don't immediately scavenge for loots, check the house for any hostile. (sometime even just picking up item or drinking from a can of soda zombie detected me for some reason.)
  • Things to look for: Food and Drinks, Weapon, Clothing and Crafting Materials. (PLEASE OBSERVE THE QUALITY OF THE ITEMS ESPECIALLY FOR FOOD SUPPLY AND WEAPON, Below 50% food and water is not good for consumption while 51% or higher is safe but the higher the better for safety, For weapon as durability or quality decrease the damage output also lowered)
  • Salve any extra flash light or telescope and Rake for Scrap Iron.
  • Make to Metal Sheet and craft Saw.
  • Then cut a tree and turn it into a plank and stick.
  • If you got a rope the better as you can craft Bow and Arrow (Nail (by crafting from 2 scrap iron) and stick are needed to craft  3 extra arrows)
  • Guns are strong but loud and at start has a minimum ammo so its hardly any use so craft bow the better or loot for bow gun too but Crafted Bow is much easier to repair as  it need four stick only.
  • Salvage clothing's for pieces of cloth and craft a bed.
  • Look for a good spot to make as base and put the bed and claim it
  • Make campfire at your base..
  • When you have claimed a bed, then you can roam without care at first because you still don't have any skill points to worry about on loosing.
  • Craft Crates Pine crates are better than maple and Birch....
  • When you see food(vegetables) with low durability or quality turn them into seeds and plant them...
  • Ropes can be crated to become fertilizer.
  • While roaming survey around to where you can build your really base with easy access to town or supply...
  • At night you can still roam around to gather materials if you are confident on your survival skills, but except when there was full moon zombies are pretty strong when there's a full moon...






This how you will know if its full moon you will see a round moon near the status bar.
